Check to see if you are properly registered to vote on the Secretary of State Website at www.votercheck.necvr.ne.gov
LB514 passed in 2022 requiring Nebraska voters to present an acceptable form of photo ID at the polling sites in order to vote or voter will need to complete a reasonable impediment certification or voter will have to vote as a provisional voter identification verification and then come to election office to show acceptable ID by May 23rd in order to have ballot counted. To save time at the polls please have your photo ID ready to show the poll workers before receiving a ballot. SS 32-1002-1002.01
SS 32-918 of the Election Law reads: Any voter, who requires assistance to vote by reason of blindness, disability, or inability to read or write, may be given assistance by a person of the voter’s choice.
